Up to six electrodes can be applied in one Ridustar® treatment (for individual wrinkle treatment or the treatment of larger areas). What happens in the skin? As this appliance combines all the advantages of conventional electric stimuli treatment with myotony, the effects are numerous. For example the metabolism of the skin is stimulated and the oxygen uptake of the cells is greatly increased. The small myofibrils are also well stimulated with the consequence that the tissue is regenerated from inside out.

Needle electrodes are particularly gentle and effective for the treatment of lines and wrinkles caused by facial expression and dryness. First the skin is prepared for the treatment with thorough cleansing and a special preparation. Precise electric impulses run through the special, extremely fine disposable needles, which are painlessly inserted into a pore or hair follicle. A special "impulse cocktail" absorbs tissue fluid and lipids; these are then deposited in the area of the needle, padding out the tissue in a matter of seconds.
